Aurora World will make its debut at the TFWA World Exhibition next month with a range of character brands including Peanuts, Yoohoo & Friends and The Gruffalo (stand number: Green Village K67).
The stuffed toy specialist recently showcased its popular toy brands at the Travel Retail Tradeshow at the London Gatwick Hotel and hopes to continue its expansion into travel retail through the TFWA Cannes show.
Aurora Travel Retail Manager Garry Stoner said: "We are thrilled to be exhibiting at TFWA World Exhibition this year. The show increases in size and popularity each year and it really is the place to be if you want to expand your brand into the travel retail industry. We have seen great results with our other plush toy brands and we are confident that Peanuts will prove just as popular due to its worldwide familiarity. The comic strip has been around for more than 60 years and should resonate with a lot of people. Having a brand that can speak to both younger and older generations means our customer base is very wide."
The Peanuts collection includes popular characters Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Lucy and Woodstock. Retailing inflight from €10 to €15, the four characters are said to be ideal for gifting and impulse purchasing. Their space efficiency, Aurora added, makes the new range ideal for travel retail.
The children's comic strip has a history dating back to the 1950s. "Snoopy and his friends have a worldwide appeal, with the black and white dog being one of the world's most recognised children’s characters," Aurora stated. "Appealing to both adults and children alike the popular collection is a huge hit on social media, with just over five million fans on Facebook. Adding to this, for the first time ever, 'Peanuts' the movie will be hitting the cinemas in 2015."
Aurora World added that it is also keen on discussing its plush manufacturing capabilities during the TFWA World Exhibition.
