Angels at Independence Harley Are Collecting Stuffed Animals for Kids in Need

Santa Claus and his friends from Independence Harley made a visit into a several local day cares in Bryan and College Station this Friday morning.

But the visit wasn't to give out toys, but to pick up a collection of donated stuffed animals.

Volunteers collected a truck load of adorable stuffed animals will go to some special kids who would otherwise have nothing at Christmas...

Independence Harley has adopted nine families who are in need of some help this year.

Marketing Director at Independence Harley, Heather Beran says, "There's so much excitement and we have families who have never had a christmas, so honestly they don't know what it's like, so this will be first year they will get to open gifts, it's pretty awesome."

Because many of the families don't even have beds to sleep on, the Angels at Independence Harley have partnered with Ashley furniture and Bryan Wal-Mart to donate new beds, furniture, living goods and new bicycles to these special families.

Their 26th Annual Toy Run is scheduled for December 6th at 9:30am.
