| Commonly used plush toy fabric |

Generally most of the plush toy fatories will use the fabric below,
- Plush fabric:
A. A yarn(also called common yarn, BOA fabric), divide into:
Bright yarn: Common fabric is usually a yarn, in the light, the hair is divided into the Yin and Yang. Matt yarn: A dumb color, no Yin and Yang side.
B. V yarn(also called special yarn, T-590, Vonnel), has the even cut and uneven cut, hair length is around 4-20mm, belongs to intermediate grade.
C. Hipile(long plush): Hair is in the 20-120mm range, 20-45mm range can do any lenght hair, above 45mm only have the 65mm and 120mm(110mm), belongs uneven cut.
D. Others
1. Rolled bundle of hair: a.Tumbling boa, A yarn curly: Most of them are granular hairs, lamb wool, the roots are bunches, wind off. Usually to make the classic plush toy, the highest hair length is 15mm, price is much lower than Tumbling H.P. b. Tumbling H.P, hipile curly: Usually has long hair, the curling effect is looser, there are many styles to choose from.
2. Super soft fabric: This kind of fabric uses most now and many customers like them, soft and good quality. Mind the price is different if the original yarn is different.
3. D.D.F: One kind of H.P., hard and straight, high-grade material, usually mixed colors.
E. Pile printed fabric include: 1. printed; 2. jacquard weave; 3. Tip-dyed; 4. Parti-color; 5. Two tone etc.
- Velboa: Simliar to the super soft fabric, people likes super soft more.
- Velour: Similiar to velboa, short hair, length is around 1.5-2mm. The elasticity is relatively large than velboa. No hair stream.
- Nylex: Divide into 100% Polyester and Nylon. We usally use the common one. Easy to use for production, cutting, printing, embroidery etc. Keep in mind to control the hair no more than 1mm when doing the printing or it's difficult for printing, the color is not easy to penetrate, easy to rub off.
- T/C cloth：(made by 65% Polyester, 35% cotton), divide into three kinds:
110x76: A little thick, uses for printing fabric or good quality product.(Large densities, not easy to loose).
96x72: Medium thick, thin densities.
88x64: Thick, because the tissue is looser, the fabric factory always make a light pulp when making the fabrics to prevent the fag end when sewing and prevent seam broken.
The second and third size usally use for lining cloth. Choose different size according to your request.
- 100% cotton: Use for high quality printing fabric, thicker than T/C.
- Felt: Divide into polyester and acrylic. We usually use the common polyester, a little hard, easy to make the shapes, 1.5mm thick. Acrylic one is softer but easy for broken, rarely use for plush toy.
- Polar fleece: Has single side and double sides, soft but large elasticity.
- PU: It's one kind of Polyester, not the real leather.
- Heavier T/C: Divide into cotton or T/C, a little thick, the lines are clearly visible.
- Zheshi cloth: The texture is measured by count, should choose it according to the grade and use of the product.
- Knit fabric: According to gram weight and texture to distinguish the quality. Divide into cotton or T/C, large elasticity.
- Electronic fleece: A little thin and bright, not soft for the plush side.
- Velvet: Has different grade, softer than Electronic fleece, price is high.
- Flocking fabric: Divide into single side and double sides.
- Satin: Not easy to sew, too soft and easy for yarn broken. Good to use it for sew tag.
- Nylon fabric: Divide into Linings, 170T, thin and low cost, can use it for lining. Common nylon, 190T. Thick nylon, 210T. Oxford cloth, 420T above.
- Nylon Taffeta: There are wrinkles in the cloth, can wash, some products will use it but it's not easy to sew.
- Toweling: Divide into cotton, higher terry, a little rough, better to use the thicker backing if uses it for plush toy. T/C, smooth terry, most use for baby products, bath toys.
- Others: Jeans, Changeable taffeta
